PEDIATRIC EYE CARE
PEDIATRIC EYE EXAMs:
Oculomotor assessment and visual function: We’ll assess how your child’s eyes work as a team, how well their depth perception works, and their ability to see color.
Refractive error: We’ll check your child for nearsightedness, farsightedness, asigmatism, and amblyopia (lazy eye).
Ocular disease: Though it’s rare, even children can have degenerative eye diseases that don’t have symptoms. The American Medical Association recommends that all children have a complete eye exam with dilation by the age of 6.
